Our process of developing a mixed media print typically initiates with a consultation, allowing our team to understand your envisioned outcome. From there, we will recommend which methods will be suitable and assist in creating the necessary digital artwork to realise your vision.
Due to the setup required in the printing process we suggest a minimum order of 10 prints when incorporating these finishes or effects.

Sample Pack
VARNISH
Gloss and matt varnishes can enhance colours and introduce contrast to a print. They can also be used to accentuate particular areas of a print through selective application.
Gloss varnish intensifies mid to dark tones, rendering them deeper and more vivid, while semi-gloss variations add texture and contrast. A combination of varnishes with different reflective qualities can be applied over different areas of print for intriguing effects. Additionally, applying varnish to extensive black areas minimises scuffing caused by handling, ensuring print longevity.

Each leaf is carefully hand-applied, adding a touch of luxury to every print. Our studio assistants employ a range of techniques for leaf application, ensuring a diverse array of finishes and textures that elevate the final product.
Our flatbed printers possess the capability to print over leafing, offering versatility in customisation and enabling further enhancements to the print.

Originally used by Andy Warhol in the 1980s, this industrial crushed glass brings a genuine sparkle to any print, whether applied to select areas or as an overall background.
The application of diamond dust involves a meticulous two-stage process. Initially, an adhesive is silkscreened onto the selected area. The diamond dust is then carefully applied over the print in several passes, ensuring adherence to all the designated areas. The excess is then poured away for reuse. Diamond dust comprises shards of high-grade glass, requiring careful handling. Our studio prioritizes safety, employing gloves, goggles, and masks during its application

PEARLESCENT AND IRIDESCENT INK
Pearlescent inks exhibit an iridescent shimmer, resembling an insect's body with their colour-changing effect based on viewing angles. Available in various colours, they have a semi-matte finish.
Iridescent inks, more translucent in nature, impart a subtle complementary shade on light backgrounds and a glossy color effect on dark backgrounds. Also available in a range of colours.

This effect merges digital flatbed and silkscreen printing to create an amazing effect. Using a textured background crafted through silkscreen and UV ink, we overlay a full-color digital image using the flatbed printer.
