The cost of Silkscreen editioning can vary greatly depending on the requirements of the individual publisher and it is impossible to give any more that just an outline guide to the costs.
On average the number of colours needed for editioning a print is 22. This number of colours will produce a full colour image resembling an oil painting of great tonal variability with varnish and textures. The cost per print will amount to between £25-£60 for an edition of between 75 and 300 copies. Images with flat colours will be far cheaper to produce. Editioning two images at one time will cut the cost per print down by about a third.
